I'm an accountant and business support specialist based here on Koh Phangan. I've spent my career helping business owners — Thai and international — get their accounting, tax and company administration right, from tiny beach bars to established companies.
Numbers are only half of the job. The other half is translation: taking Thai accounting and tax requirements and turning them into clear, practical steps a busy business owner can actually follow. That's the "API" in our name — I connect the two worlds so they finally understand each other.
Koh Phangan attracts people with dreams — a café, a retreat, a dive shop, a studio. But over the years I kept meeting owners who had been badly let down: sold companies with nominee shareholders they were told were "normal", never informed about VAT registration or withholding tax, handed books that didn't reflect reality, and left completely exposed when authorities came asking questions.
Most of these people weren't trying to cut corners. They simply trusted the wrong advice, because nobody explained the rules to them in a language they understood.
The Accounting API exists to be the opposite of that experience. I will always tell you what the law actually requires, what your options genuinely are, and what each one costs — before you commit to anything. If something can't be done legally, I'll say so plainly. And if your business is already in a mess someone else created, we'll work out the cleanest, calmest path to putting it right.
